VU inks two players from North/South Indiana All-Star Classic's South roster

Two members of the 2014 Indiana North/South All-Star Classic’s South Girls team made their commitments official to play for Vincennes University in 2014-15 when they signed their national letters of intent during Saturday activities at the VU P.E. Complex prior to Sunday's games.
Anderson forward Chelsea Bentley and Owen Valley guard Alicia Wilson inked the letters with Bentley’s parents, Albert and Amy, and Wilson’s coach, Todd York, looking on. VU Coach Harry Meeks and one of the Trailblazers’ assistant coaches, Millie Crenshaw, also joined the pair at the signing.

VU Baseball tops S. Suburban, falls to Kankakee Saturday

SOUTH HOLLAND, Ill. – The Vincennes University Baseball Team won one of two games Saturday, topping host South Suburban, 8-7, and then being blanked, 12-0, by Kankakee on the South Suburban field in South Holland, IL.

Goatee wins two events, Murphy lands Track Athlete of the Meet honors to lead VU at Little State Championships

MARION – Vincennes University freshman TaPring Goatee won two events with new VU school record times and and freshman Robert Murphy was voted Track Athlete of the Meet as the Trailblazer Track & Field Teams won seven events overall Friday and Saturday at the Indiana Little State Championships at Indiana Wesleyan in Marion. The VU Men's Track & Field Team finished second at the meet.
