VU Golf captures NJCAA Region XII Championship; moves on to National Golf Championship in early June

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio - The Vincennes University Golf Team won the NJCAA Region XII Tournament over the weekend, edging out Cincinnati State by one stroke, 940-941, at Weatherwax Golf Course in Middletown, OH.
Cincinnati State sophomore Josh Bialecki finished first in individual competition with a 3-under-par 69 in the second round and a final round of 76 for an individual event total of 224, followed by VU's Shelby Stewart, Ryan Reedy and Mike Molt in a tie for second with tournament totals of 233.

VU Golf Team hangs on to 17th place at season-opening Spring Fling in Alabama

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - The Vincennes University Golf Team finished 17th and freshman Colton Reed tied for 58th individually at the 11th Annual Ron Marshall Spring Fling at Goose Pond Colony in Scottsboro, AL, this weekend.
Meridian Community College won the event with a total team score of 842. VU finished at 970.

Reed's even-par performance leads VU on 1st day of season-opening event in Alabama

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. - The Vincennes University Golf Team teed off on the 2012 Spring Season Thursday with the first 18 holes of the 54-hole Ron Marshall Spring Fling in Scottsboro, AL.

The Trailblazers were led by freshman Colton Reed, who carded a first round of even par 72, to lead VU into 17th place among 19 teams.
