Zhuravleva claims Discus national title @ NJCAA Outdoor National Championships

LEVELLAND, Texas – Vincennes University sophomore Tatiana Zhuravleva won the NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship in the Discus Thursday at the NJCAA Div. I National Championships at South Plains College in Levelland, TX.
Zhuravleva, who was fourth in the Shot Put and 11th in the Weight Throw on Wednesday, unleashed a throw of 170 feet, eight inches to garner the Discus title. VU sophomore Ariane Bell was 15th in the Discus at 121 feet, 9 inches.

Bartnovskaya adds to her VU legend with another outdoor Pole Vault title

LEVELLAND, Texas – Vincennes University sophomore Natalia Bartnovskaya claimed yet another NJCAA Div. I Pole Vault national title Wednesday at the 2012 NJCAA Div. I Men’s and Women’s National Track & Field Championships.
The national championship meet continues on Thursday.
Bartnovskaya went 13 feet, 9.75 inches, for the victory. Fellow VU sophomore vaulter Ashleigh Lewis was seventh at 10 feet, 6 inches.

NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships available via live streaming
