VU Trailblazer Volleyball offering April 21 beginner’s clinic for learning the game in a fun atmosphere

The Vincennes University Volleyball Team will host a beginner’s volleyball clinic April 21 on the main floor of the VU P.E. Complex. The camp will be 1-4 p.m.
The beginner’s clinic is for players with little or no training in volleyball. The clinic staff will introduce basic skills of volleyball in a fun learning environment.
Cost for the clinic is $30 with a t-shirt order or $25 without a t-shirt.

VEVA offering programs for various ages of volleyball players this month

Vincennes Elite Volleyball Alliance (VEVA) will offer several programs for various ages of players this month.
Friday evening practices will be in the Vincennes University P.E. Complex and Saturday morning practices will be in the Bell Student Recreation Center on the Vincennes University campus.
The programs are:
Wee Volley Beginners (Kindergarten-5th grade) on April 6, 13, 20 and 27

Trailblazer Volleyball to hold tryout for high school seniors Dec. 11

The Vincennes University Volleyball Team will host an open tryout for high school volleyball players in their senior years, who might be interested in attending VU.
The tryout will be at 2 p.m. on December 11 at the VU Physical Education Complex. Check-in will begin at 1:30 p.m., also at the P.E. Complex.
Student-athletes are asked to wear a shirt with both the player’s first and last name or a number.
The tryout will last about 90 minutes. Afterward, the VU Volleyball program will conduct a campus tour for prospective student-athletes and their families.
