VU's Strikas earns NJCAA Honorable Mention nod

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Vincennes University sophomore forward Ingrida Strikas earned Honorable Mention status on the NJCAA Div. I Women’s Basketball All-American list for the 2011-12 season. The list was released earlier today by the NJCAA Headquarters in Colorado Springs, CO.
The All-American lists were also released for Division II and III Women’s Basketball. The selections were made by each division's basketball committee at the 2012 NJCAA Annual Meeting last month in Colorado Springs.

VU hosting NJCAA Div. I District C Women's Basketball Tournament this weekend

Vincennes University will host the NJCAA Div. I District C Women’s Basketball Tournament this weekend at the VU P.E. Complex.
The District C Tournament begins Friday with a 7 p.m. game between Monroe Community College and ASA College. The winner will then face the host Trailblazers at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The championship game’s winner will move on to the NJCAA Div. I Women’s Basketball National Championship Tournament March 20-24 in Salina, KS.

VU hosting District C Tournament for NJCAA Div. I Women on March 9 & 11

The dates and times have been finalized for the NJCAA Div. I District C Women’s Basketball Tournament to be hosted by Vincennes University early next month at the P.E. Complex.
The District C Tournament begins Friday, March 9, with a 7 p.m. game between Monroe Community College and ASA College. The winner will then face the host Vincennes Trailblazers at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 11. All times are Eastern Standard Time.
The second game’s winner will move on to the NJCAA Div. I Women’s Basketball National Championship Tournament to be held March 20-24 in Salina, KS.
