Bio
Noah Marshall enters the season with a focused, event-specific mindset centered on the high jump. His primary individual objective is clearing 6 feet 3 inches or higher, while continuing to sharpen consistency and approach work. From a team standpoint, he places value on winning often and contributing reliable points in competition. His most memorable athletic experience came in high school, where he captured a sectional championship—an achievement that reinforced his confidence and commitment to the event.
Noah is motivated by steady self-improvement and the belief that progress comes from persistence. He follows the simple advice to “don’t give up and keep trying,” carrying a calm, reserved demeanor into both practice and competition. While naturally quiet, he approaches training with intent and discipline, focusing on incremental gains rather than external noise.
Academically, Noah majors in Criminal Justice and plans to pursue a career with the Indiana State Police. He lists Criminal Justice as his favorite class at Vincennes and values the structure and real-world relevance of the program. His long-term interests also include aviation, with aspirations that reflect his appreciation for precision and responsibility.
Outside of track, Noah enjoys running, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors. He lists Cane’s as his favorite food and Sour Patch Kids as his go-to snack. He enjoys watching track and field and tennis, names Hacksaw Ridge as his favorite movie, and says he can’t imagine a week without his dog. Though quiet when first meeting others, he is known for a steady presence and strong internal drive.
Noah chose Vincennes University because of its Criminal Justice program and the opportunity to continue developing as a high jumper in a supportive, competitive environment.
Coach Mangan on Noah...
"Noah will hold down the fort in the high jump for the Blazers. When outdoor season comes around, he will also be competing in the 400 hurdles."
