Bio

Bryce Peak enters the season with defined individual and team goals. Individually, he is targeting a 15’5” clearance in the pole vault, maintaining a 3.5 GPA, and positioning himself to compete at the next collegiate level. Team-wise, his focus is on helping half of the roster qualify for nationals. His most memorable athletic experience came competing alongside friends at Louisville, an environment he credits with reinforcing his competitive mindset.

Academically, Bryce majors in Land Surveying and plans to pursue a career working in drone operations within the construction field. He identifies his parents as his primary motivation and credits their support as a driving force behind both his athletic and academic commitment.

Away from competition, Bryce enjoys golf, track, and working with drones. He lists Mondo Duplantis as his favorite athlete and football as his favorite sport to watch. He emphasizes consistency and effort, living by the advice he was given early in his career: “If you show love, you will receive love back.” Since arriving at Vincennes, he notes that he has continued to develop technically, particularly in the pole vault.

Bryce chose Vincennes University because it offered the degree program he wanted, allowing him to align his academic path with his athletic goals.

Coach Mangan on Bryce...

"While recovering from an injury during the Indoor season, Bryce continues to work on his skils in both the javelin and the pole vault. Looking forward to a big spring."
