At VU, Seth Weaver is looking forward to finding his place in a new competitive environment. While he keeps his season goals open as he adjusts to college running, he is motivated by the simple principle of discipline and fueled by the advice to “work hard.” His long-term team goal is to help the Trailblazers “do the best we can,” and he hopes to contribute to building consistency and depth. He embraces a lighthearted, approachable personality, admitting that when people first meet him they often find him quiet until he gets comfortable.

Off the course, Seth is pursuing a degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with aspirations of designing airplanes. His dream is to transfer to Purdue University, earn a bachelor’s degree, and pursue a career in aerospace engineering. Outside of academics and athletics, he enjoys lifting weights and watching TV shows, with favorites including Breaking Bad and Inception. He also finds inspiration in music, particularly from bands like Linkin Park, and describes himself as someone who can’t imagine life without tacos, granola, and a good challenge.

Seth chose Vincennes University because it offered the best opportunity to continue competing while also preparing for his future career. Guided by his faith, family, and his love of sport, he is eager to contribute to the Trailblazers’ success while beginning his own journey as a student-athlete.
