Kris Seigenthaler enters her first season as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Vincennes University with over a decade of coaching experience at the NAIA and NCAA Division II levels.

Most recently, Seigenthaler served as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Oklahoma City University from 2022 to 2025. During her tenure, she led the Stars to two postseason conference tournament appearances and coached multiple standout performers, including a Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) All-Conference selection, the SAC Defensive Player of the Year, and a SAC All-Freshman Team honoree.

Before taking the reins at OCU, Seigenthaler spent four successful seasons as an assistant coach at Loyola University New Orleans. While with the Wolf Pack, she helped guide the program to a 91-22 overall record (.805 winning percentage), four consecutive 20-win seasons, and back-to-back Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) regular-season and tournament titles. Loyola advanced to the NAIA National Championship Tournament in each of her four years on staff.

At Loyola, Seigenthaler coached four NAIA All-Americans and two Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Americans. Her student-athletes earned numerous honors, including Conference Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Sixth Woman of the Year, and two Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player awards.

Prior to her time at Loyola, Seigenthaler was the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Auburn University Montgomery (Ala.) from 2016 to 2018. She was instrumental in the program’s transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II and the Gulf South Conference, helping guide one All-American and earning recognition as part of the WBCA’s “Thirty Under 30” list in 2017, honoring 30 up-and-coming women’s basketball coaches age 30 and under at all levels of the game.

Seigenthaler began her collegiate coaching career at Faulkner University (Ala.), serving as an assistant coach from 2013 to 2016. During her time with the Eagles, the team produced an NAIA All-American, achieved a top-15 national ranking, and was named one of the NAIA’s top 25 academic programs. She also served as the team’s academic counselor.

A Tennessee native, Seigenthaler earned her Master’s degree in leadership from Shorter University (Ga.), where she was a graduate assistant coach from 2011 to 2013. The Hawks reached the Round of 16 in the 2012 NAIA Division I National Tournament during her time on staff.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Montevallo (Ala.), where she was a four-year letterwinner and served as team captain during her senior season.
