Bio

Olivia Chambers-Greer brings a disciplined, performance-oriented approach into the season as a sprinter for the Trailblazers. Competing in the 60, 100, and 200 meters, along with the 4x100 and 4x200 relays, she has set specific benchmarks for herself, including breaking 12 seconds in the 100 and dropping under 25 seconds in the 200. From a team perspective, her focus is consistency and shared success, with an emphasis on helping a strong percentage of the roster reach national-qualifying standards. One of the most meaningful moments of her career came during her sophomore year of high school, when she advanced to the state qualifying meet and competed at the News-Gazette meet.

Olivia draws motivation primarily from her mother and carries a mindset centered on purpose and accountability. She values the advice that success requires wanting it more than anyone else and applies that standard daily in training. While she may come across as reserved or serious at first, her intensity is rooted in focus rather than distance, and she channels that energy into steady improvement.

Academically, Olivia majors in Business Management and is exploring career paths that align with athletics, including professional track or working as an athletic trainer at the highest level. She approaches her academic work with the same intention she brings to competition, viewing both as necessary steps toward long-term goals.

Away from the track, Olivia enjoys listening to music and reading, noting that music is something she can’t imagine going a week without. She lists chicken alfredo as her favorite food and strawberries as her preferred snack, enjoys watching track and field and football, and names Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce as her favorite athlete. She also values time alone, balancing independence with reflection.

Olivia chose Vincennes University to continue developing as both a student and an athlete, embracing the opportunity to compete, grow, and build toward her future within a collegiate environment that supports consistency and ambition.

Coach Mangan on Olivia...

"A great fall of training has Olivia running faster than she ever has. As a natural leader, she will play a vital role in the day to day efforts of the team."
