Kapri Granger enters the season bringing an energetic, resilient approach to the pole vault. Her individual focus is simple and direct: keep improving and turn consistent work into new personal records. From a team standpoint, her priority is winning together, valuing shared success and strong teammate connections. One of the most memorable moments of her athletic career came when she received the call back qualifying for the state meet, a milestone that validated her persistence and commitment.

Kapri is motivated by music and guided by a mindset of self-confidence, living by the advice to “just do you.” She embraces the belief that failure is part of growth and views setbacks as opportunities to learn. Often described as lighthearted and memorable when first meeting others, she brings personality and energy into the team environment while staying focused on her own progress.

Academically, Kapri is pursuing General Studies with plans to become a nurse. She approaches her education with the same adaptability she brings to athletics, understanding that growth often comes from navigating new challenges and learning as she goes.

Away from competition, Kapri enjoys tumbling and staying active. She lists ramen as both her favorite food and snack, says she can’t imagine a week without water, and enjoys watching basketball. She is known for her humor and individuality, traits that make her a distinctive presence among teammates.

Kapri chose Vincennes University because it provided her the opportunity to continue competing at the collegiate level. Since arriving, she has embraced the program’s team culture and values the relationships she has built with her teammates while continuing to develop as a pole vaulter and student.
