Greer Hardin

Bio

Greer Hardin brings an energetic, people-driven presence into the season as a high jumper and multi-event contributor for women’s track and field. Her primary individual focus is clearing beyond her personal best of 5-4 in the high jump, while continuing to contribute in relays and the 400. From a team standpoint, her priority is simple—enjoy the season, compete freely, and build a positive environment that allows everyone to perform at their best. One of the most consistent highlights of her athletic career came during high school, where she placed top three in the high jump at sectionals in all four seasons.

Greer is motivated by impact rather than attention, drawing inspiration from younger athletes who look up to her. She values feedback and lives by the belief that constructive criticism is a privilege, not a negative. Known for her outgoing personality and laughter, she brings enthusiasm into practices and meets while balancing that energy with focus and gratitude.

Academically, Greer majors in Public Relations and is exploring future paths in marketing or social work. She lists News Writing and Reporting as her favorite class and has developed strong time-management skills since arriving at Vincennes. Her interests extend beyond the classroom into communication, advocacy, and creative storytelling.

Away from competition, Greer enjoys thrifting, collecting vinyl records, going to the gym, and participating in pageants. She lists steak and fried chicken as her favorite foods, Extra Toasty Cheez-Its as her go-to snack, and says she can’t imagine a week without music. She enjoys watching track and soccer and names Sha’Carri Richardson as her favorite athlete. Often described as talkative and upbeat, she thrives in social settings and team environments.

Greer chose Vincennes University because of its proximity to home and the respect she felt from the coaching staff. She values VU’s strong connection to the local community and the opportunity to compete, serve, and grow in an environment that supports both athletic and personal development.
