Bio

Cinnamon Harris enters the season with a purpose-driven mindset shaped by discipline, balance, and long-term vision. Preparing to compete as a sprinter in the 100 and 200 meters, she approaches the year with an emphasis on reliability—showing up consistently, training with intent, and building habits that translate beyond competition. One of the most meaningful moments in her athletic journey came when she committed to Vincennes University, a decision she views as a turning point in aligning her academic ambitions with collegiate athletics.

Cinnamon is motivated by resilience and faith, believing that consistent effort produces positive outcomes even when the results are not immediately visible. She carries a focused, thoughtful demeanor and often prefers to observe before speaking, a trait that can come across as reserved but reflects her concentration and intentionality. Guided by prayer rather than superstition, she grounds her confidence in preparation and perspective rather than external validation.

Academically, Cinnamon majors in Legal Studies and is committed to becoming a Criminal Defense Attorney. She has set a clear academic standard for herself, aiming to maintain a GPA of 3.7 or higher as she prepares to transfer into a pre-law program. Her favorite class, Investigation, Tort, and Law, reflects her interest in strategy, justice, and critical thinking. She views athletics as a complementary tool that sharpens mental toughness and time management.

Away from the track, Cinnamon enjoys singing, cooking, baking, writing, working out, and expressing herself through fashion. She lists chicken alfredo as her favorite food and veggie straws as her go-to snack, enjoys women’s track and field, and names Sydney McLaughlin as her favorite athlete. She says she can’t imagine a week without her foam roller, emphasizing recovery as part of her routine. While she may seem intense at first, she is deeply kind and values being a dependable teammate.

Cinnamon chose Vincennes University because it offered the most practical and efficient path toward her academic and professional goals. She values the structure of the program and the opportunity to grow in a new environment, viewing her time at VU as foundational preparation for both her legal career and her development as a student-athlete.
