Bio

Brielle Seiler arrives at Vincennes with a competitive edge shaped by multi-sport experience and a strong breakthrough season. Specializing in the 400-meter hurdles, she enters the year focused on placing at the conference level while continuing to sharpen race execution. One of the defining moments of her athletic career came during her junior year of high school, when she broke two school records in a single day—an experience that reinforced her confidence and ability to perform under pressure.

Brielle draws her motivation from family and carries an appreciation for the process of improvement, guided by advice to enjoy the journey as much as the outcome. She approaches training with a balanced mindset, pairing intensity with perspective, and values consistency as the foundation for progress. While reserved by nature, her competitiveness shows once the race begins, where focus and composure take over.

Academically, Brielle is pursuing General Studies as she explores long-term interests and career direction. She values the opportunity to compete close to home while continuing to develop academically, using her first collegiate year to establish rhythm and routine in both the classroom and on the track.

Away from competition, Brielle enjoys running, lifting, and watching movies. She lists buffalo wings as her favorite food and peanut butter M&Ms as her go-to snack, enjoys watching football, and says she can’t imagine a week without her AirPods. She names Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone as her favorite athlete, drawn to elite performance in the hurdles and disciplined preparation.

Brielle chose Vincennes University because of its proximity to home and the opportunity to continue competing at the collegiate level while transitioning into the next stage of her academic and athletic development.

Coach Mangan on Brielle...

"Brielle brings speed and toughness to VU’s sprint and hurdle crew. A state placer in the 300 hurdles in high school, she looks to make a strong impact in both sprints and hurdles."
