Bio

One of Allie Knepp's most memorable moments came when she helped her team advance to the Semi-State meet during her freshman year, a breakthrough experience that fueled her determination to keep progressing. At VU, her goals are to set new personal records, remain consistent in her training, and contribute to building strong team chemistry. She embraces the advice to “treat everyone with kindness” and credits her father as her greatest motivator. Known for her sense of humor and easygoing nature, Allie says when people first meet her, they usually think “she’s funny,” and she thrives on being a positive teammate.

Outside of running, Allie is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education, with the career goal of becoming a teacher. She also dreams of one day working as a tour guide, combining her love of people with her sense of adventure. Her hobbies include journaling, crafting, jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with friends. She enjoys watching Manifest, loves cheesy potatoes and ice cream, and admits she can’t imagine a week without potatoes. She looks up to Allie Ostrander as her favorite athlete and has fun quirks like wishing she were better at ice skating or joking that she might break a record for being the fastest to solve an escape room.

Allie chose Vincennes University because of its proximity to home and her connection to the school, where her mother also attended. With her determination, humor, and motto to be kind, she looks forward to leaving her own lasting legacy as a Trailblazer.
