Bio

Outfielder/infielder Wyatt Mullin brings confidence, versatility, and a relentless drive to reach his full potential to the Vincennes University baseball program. A native of Cloverdale, Indiana, Mullin chose Vincennes because of its close-to-home, small-town atmosphere and strong family ties to the community, providing the ideal environment to continue developing both academically and athletically while pursuing a Pre-Medical academic path.

Motivated by the fear of leaving potential untapped, Wyatt approaches each day with a mindset centered on growth and self-improvement. His individual goals focus on becoming the best version of himself possible while helping the Trailblazers reach team milestones, including a 30-win season and consistent success on the field. Some of his most memorable athletic moments came during championship competition, including winning a regional title alongside teammates he considers brothers and delivering a standout performance by hitting for the cycle against a rival during his sophomore year of high school.

A multi-sport standout at South Putnam High School, Wyatt competed in baseball, football, basketball, and track and field, earning extensive recognition across all four sports. His football career included multiple All-State honors along with conference, county, and regional all-star selections while setting several school records. That diverse athletic background helped develop the competitiveness and athleticism he now brings to second base and the outfield.

Known for making a strong first impression with confidence and a firm handshake, Wyatt balances competitiveness with authenticity and humor. Away from baseball, he enjoys working out, fishing, listening to music, and staying active, rarely going a week without time in the weight room. Inspired by Chicago Cubs standout Pete Crow-Armstrong, he embraces energy and defensive excellence while chasing ambitious goals of his own.

Community service has also played a meaningful role in Wyatt’s development. Through involvement in the Little Eaglets program — an initiative designed to mentor and support children facing difficult home situations — he gained perspective on leadership and responsibility beyond athletics. Looking ahead, Wyatt hopes to pursue a career in sports medicine or neurosurgery, combining his passion for athletics with helping others.

Guided by advice emphasizing self-confidence and authenticity, Wyatt approaches baseball and life with the belief that success begins with believing in yourself. Whether chasing championships, preparing for future medical aspirations, or simply enjoying competition at Wrigley Field someday, he brings energy, ambition, and a commitment to continuous improvement to the Trailblazer program.
