Trailblazers Set to Host 2025 Blazer Classic Volleyball Event
VINCENNES, Ind. – Vincennes University Volleyball will welcome a strong field of programs to campus this weekend as the Trailblazers host the 2025 Blazer Classic, scheduled for Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, inside the VU Student Recreation Center.
The two-day event will feature seven teams, with programs traveling from Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, and Alabama to compete. Joining the Trailblazers in the field are Danville Area Community College (IL), Ellsworth Community College (IA), Mineral Area College (MO), Southwestern Illinois College (IL), Wabash Valley College (IL), and Wallace State Community College (AL).

"We're excited to showcase a great weekend of volleyball here at Vincennes," said VU Head Coach Gary Sien. "The Blazer Classic gives our student-athletes the opportunity to compete against high-level programs, and it's always special to do that on our home court in front of our fans."
Admission for the Blazer Classic is set at $12 for adults and $5 for seniors, while children 12 and under receive free admission. Vincennes University students and staff are also admitted free with a valid ID. A tournament pass good for both days will be available for $20.
Fans unable to attend in person can watch all the action live on BlazerVision, the official athletic YouTube channel of VU Athletics. The tournament will be played on Eastern Standard Time. Fans can also follow live updates, scores, and recaps on the official Vincennes University Athletics website.
