Bio
Brooklyn Summers' most memorable athletic moments have been defined by overcoming adversity, including persevering through concussions while continuing to play the sport she loves. At VU, her goals are to sharpen her defensive skills, improve as a setter, and be the kind of leader her teammates can rely on. Known for her motto “Faith Over Fear,” she strives to stay positive, humble, and consistent in every aspect of life.
Brooklyn is also dedicated academically, majoring in Business Management and Leadership with career aspirations of becoming a real estate agent and working in Evansville. She is active in leadership and service, participating in the Business Club at VU after serving in organizations like Beta Club, Spanish Club, and Student Council during high school. Off the court, she enjoys shopping, walking, and spending time with friends, while valuing the friendships and memories volleyball has given her. She chose Vincennes because of its welcoming atmosphere, strong academic offerings, and competitive athletic program.
