Bio

Infielder Tommy Holman brings energy, leadership, and a relentless competitive spirit to the Vincennes University baseball program. A native of Charlestown, Indiana, Holman chose Vincennes for the opportunity to continue developing both academically and athletically while competing in a program he believed offered the right environment to grow as a player and teammate.

Driven by relationships and loyalty to those around him, Tommy credits the people in his life as his greatest motivation, striving daily to improve not only for himself but for teammates, coaches, and family members who support his journey. His approach centers on being the best teammate and friend possible while doing whatever it takes to help the Trailblazers win ballgames. That competitive drive was shaped through memorable high school moments, including winning a state championship and delivering a key regional victory during his senior season.

Known for his outgoing personality and constant communication, Tommy quickly builds connections within the clubhouse and embraces the leadership responsibilities that come with experience. Whether hitting in the cage, lifting, or studying opposing pitchers, he focuses on preparation and consistency. Inspired by Major League Baseball star Mike Trout and guided by the advice to “stay hard,” he approaches competition with intensity and resilience.

A standout athlete at Silver Creek High School, Tommy earned All-State recognition while also serving as team MVP and leading his team in batting average. A multi-sport competitor who also played basketball, he developed athleticism and defensive instincts that continue to benefit him on the baseball field. His jersey numbers carry personal meaning as well, honoring both a late cousin and his father, reflecting the strong family ties that shape his perspective.

Away from baseball, Tommy enjoys spending time watching sports with friends, playing video games, lifting, and staying active within his church community. Majoring in Business Administration with plans to pursue pipefitting after college, he balances long-term career goals with aspirations of playing professional baseball. Guided by the belief that anything is possible, Tommy continues working to maximize every opportunity while bringing passion, personality, and a team-first mentality to the Trailblazer program.
