At VU, Dylan Lewis' goals are simple but ambitious: both individually and as a team, his aim is to win. He is motivated by himself and guided by the advice to “don’t give up.” Known for his kind personality, Dylan says when people first meet him, they usually just think he is “kind,” though his teammates quickly see his determination and competitive edge. He enjoys traveling with the team and lists it as the best part of being an athlete at VU.

Off the lanes, Dylan is majoring in Cybersecurity, with career aspirations of working in military or government digital forensics. His dream job, however, would be as a PGA player, reflecting his passion for golf. He enjoys golfing as a hobby, admits he can’t imagine a week without it, and jokes that nobody realizes how much time he spends on the course. His favorites include Chinese food, gummies as a midnight snack, Happy Gilmore as his favorite movie, Breaking Bad as his favorite TV show, and The Kid LAROI as his favorite artist with BLEED as his go-to song. He dreams of attending The Masters, visiting the United Kingdom, and one day breaking the record for the lowest round in golf.

Dylan chose Vincennes University because he liked the smaller campus and the connection he felt with Coach LeMond. Supported by his mother, Mandy Powell (a former cheerleader), and his brother Tanner, Dylan looks forward to making his mark with the Trailblazers. With his size, confidence, and motto to “be happy,” he is ready to grow as both a student-athlete and teammate at VU.
