Bio
Landon Gardner’s season goals are focused on both individual performance and team success. Personally, he aims to “shoot well” while working to improve his short game, particularly putting. For the team, he hopes to help the Trailblazers reach the NJCAA National Championship and perform at a high level once there. Known for his straightforward and driven personality, he admits that golf is always on his mind, saying he can’t imagine a week without being on the course. Guided by the simple advice to “swing smooth,” he keeps his approach grounded and consistent.
Off the course, Landon is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with long-term career plans in sales, though he jokingly says his dream job would be to be “retired by 30.” He enjoys golf above all else, but also spends time traveling and relaxing with family. He lists hamburgers as his favorite food, Munchies as his go-to midnight snack, and Italy as the country he would most like to visit. He also follows professional golf closely, saying he’d love to attend The Masters and trade places with Scottie Scheffler for a day.
Landon chose Vincennes University because it was the best option to balance affordability, competition, and opportunity. Motivated by his family and supported by parents Derek and Stephanie Gardner — with Derek having played basketball at Lakeland College in Wisconsin — he is ready to contribute to the Trailblazers’ pursuit of regional and national success.
