Bio
At VU, Brock Naile has set ambitious goals for both himself and the team: he wants to win Nationals individually while also helping the Trailblazers capture a team National Championship. Guided by the advice, “when you’re wrong, accept it,” he strives to maintain humility while pursuing excellence. He is motivated daily by the desire to get better at something, no matter how small. Known for his positive approach, he emphasizes that the best part of being an athlete at VU is the interactions and relationships built as a team.
Off the course, Brock is majoring in Business Administration with plans to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His dream job reflects his career focus, though he also admits if he could break any record outside of golf, it would be for harvesting the biggest deer in hunting history. He enjoys hunting and fishing, lists BBQ as his favorite food, and granola bars as his go-to midnight snack. He’s a fan of NCIS, Top Gun, and country music, with “Free Bird” as his favorite song. He can’t imagine a week without his car and dreams of traveling to Scotland to experience golf at its roots.
Brock chose Vincennes University because of the welcoming campus and people, and because it gave him the chance to grow in both academics and athletics. Supported by his parents, Amy and Matthew Naile, and siblings Carter and Ryan, he is motivated by family and faith as he pursues his goals. With his work ethic, humility, and team-first mindset, Brock is ready to make his mark as a Trailblazer.
