Bio

Motivated by her mom and inspired by the motto “the limit is the sky,” Nicole De La Cruz sets her sights on becoming one of the best in her position while helping her team build strong chemistry and chase championships. She originally wore No. 11 in honor of her father’s birthday, but now looks forward to “making history with a new number” at VU.

Away from the court, Nicole is pursuing a degree in Physiotherapy with the long-term goal of becoming a physiotherapist for NBA players. Her hobbies include shopping, walking, eating ice cream, and spending time with her sister and family. Known by friends as “Niki” or “Nico,” she describes herself as kind, funny, and always smiling—something “nobody knows how much I love to do.”

Choosing Vincennes because she felt the coach’s genuine interest in her, Nicole is ready to make her mark as both a student-athlete and teammate.
